Established through the Rome Declaration for Science, Research, and Innovation in Ukraine, the International Coalition for Science, Research, and Innovation in Ukraine is launching its 1st Technical Level meeting (online).
Who should participate?
This meeting is open to up to two experts nominated by each Coalition Member as regular participants in the Technical Level meetings. Additional representatives from the Coalition may attend as needed, depending on the relevance of discussion topics.
What are the objectives of the Technical Level meetings?
The Technical Level aims to develop a common understanding of specific challenges of Ukraine’s science, technology, and innovation sector, share information about planned initiatives in order to coordinate efforts and foster collaboration. Moreover, it will share best practices to support the recovery of Ukraine’s science, technology, and innovation sector as well as its potential to support the long-term modern and sustainable societal and economic recovery of Ukraine.
How will Technical Level meetings support preparation for the High-level Steering Committee meetings?
The Technical Level will support the High-level Steering Committee, by consensus:
When mandated by the High-level Steering Committee, the Technical Level may establish dedicated groups to address specific topics related to science, technology, and innovation.
